Entiva
Know any Indian company, from its own filings.

The problem
The answers people want about an Indian company — what it earns, who sits on its board, whether it has pledged its assets — are already public. They sit in the filings the company made with MCA. But getting them from the MCA portal means repeated category searches, CAPTCHAs, a payment and a timed download window, then unpacking and checking the files yourself. So most people rely on third-party databases that retype the numbers and cannot show the document behind them.
Product vision
Ask a question about any Indian company and get an answer you can cite, with the filing it came from in your hands.
How an order works
Search the register by company name or CIN and confirm you have the right company. Add up to ten companies to an order and confirm the list before paying. Entiva pays the MCA registry fee, collects all eight document categories, and delivers them organised by company and category. A year-by-year view shows which annual returns and financial statements are in the set and where a year is missing, and you can ask questions of the filings with every answer pointing to its source document.
Why MCA filings are hard to get
- A company's filings are spread across eight separate categories on the MCA portal.
- Every company means CAPTCHAs, a payment and a timed download window before you hold a single document.
- A company in default may simply not have filed, and you need to know when that is the answer.
What you can rely on
- Every figure traces to a filing you also receive. Nothing is taken from a third-party database.
- An empty category is reported as a finding, never as a failed retrieval, and a failed retrieval is never reported as empty.
- You pay once per order, and a payment problem can never cause a second charge.
- Follow a company and hear when MCA publishes a new filing.
The outcome
Entiva turns a day of MCA portal work into one order. Due-diligence, research and credit teams get the primary record, checked and citable, instead of a number someone else retyped.
Questions people ask
- How do I check whether an Indian company is real?
- Search its name or CIN on Entiva's free lookup. It shows the company's legal name, CIN or LLPIN, status, date of incorporation and state from the MCA register, with no account needed. A company marked 'struck off' no longer legally exists.
- Can I find out what a private Indian company earns?
- Usually, yes. Indian companies file audited financial statements with the Registrar of Companies, and those filings are public. They arrive months after the year they describe, and a company in default may not have filed at all.
- Where does Entiva's data come from?
- From MCA itself. The free lookup uses the company master data the ministry publishes. The filings come from MCA's View Public Documents service, which sells a company's public documents to anyone who pays the fee.
- Why not download the documents from MCA directly?
- You can. Entiva saves the repeated category searches, CAPTCHAs, timed download window, and the work of unpacking and checking the files. It delivers the original filings in one organised set, and you can ask questions with answers linked to their source documents.
